The college is under the administrative control of a Board of Governors. It is financed by the Central Government and the State Government. The college is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan for the purpose of examination and the award of Degrees. This is otherwise an Autonomous college of the Unversity of Rajasthan. The college was set up with the objective of providing facalities for higher education,research and traning in various areas of engineering and technology.Since its inception,the college is commited to the cause of technical upgradation of the State in perticular and of the country in general. It is a matter of proud that the college is well-known for its execellent academic and extra-curricular standards. Itis actively engaged in research,cosultancy and development activities.
